Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking an Interventional Technologist I at Good Samaritan Hospital and Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. The role offers a full-time schedule of four 9-hour shifts with rotating call, delivering high-quality imaging care in a team-focused environment.

Candidates should have an associate degree in radiologic technology, ARRT registration, and MD/VA licensure on hire, with BLS/CPR due within 90 days. A limited-time $10,000 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology required.
• Certificate or diploma in radiologic technology from an approved program required (pre-2015).
• ARRT certification and MD/VA state license required on hire.
• BLS, CPR required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs vascular, non-vascular, and/or neurointerventional procedures under supervision.
• Demonstrates clinical competency across locations and patient populations, selects factors, administers contrast media, and assists physician.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and education activities.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and manages supplies.
• Communicates with patients to obtain histories and explain procedures.
• Documents care in EHR and distributes final images to PACS promptly.
• Adheres to SPIRIT values and ARRT ethics.
• Follows policies and safety standards and ensures protocol compliance.
