Job summary

MedStar Health in Baltimore, MD seeks an Interventional Technologist I to perform vascular, non-vascular, and neurointerventional procedures across locations, with 4x9-hour shifts and rotating call. The role requires ARRT, BLS, and CPR certifications, plus an Associate's degree in radiologic technology.

You will engage in continuous safety, QA, and patient care while maintaining documentation in EHR and ensuring timely image transfers to PACS.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology required.
• Vocational/Technical Diploma or Certificate in Radiologic Technology (awarded before January 1, 2015) required.
• Six months of interventional radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, performs vascular, non-vascular, and/or neurointerventional procedures.
• Demonstrates basic clinical competency across all locations and patient populations; selects appropriate factors and administers contrast per policy; participates in patient care and monitoring.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and manages supplies within the assigned area.
• Documents patient care activities in the EHR and distributes final images to PACS for interpretation.
• Communicates effectively with patients to obtain histories and explain procedures.
