Job summary

MedStar Health seeks a Cardiac Intervention Technologist II to join our team at MedStar Franklin Square Hospital and Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD. This role performs angiographic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures with patient management before, during, and after the procedure.

The position requires ARRT certification, Maryland license, and ACLS eligibility, with a limited-time $10,000 sign-on bonus. On-site work with a strong emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology (2 years)
• 2 years' experience in diagnostic radiology.
• Experience in interventional radiology/cardiac catheterization or equivalent.
• ARRT certification or registration.
• Maryland Radiology Technologist license.
• ACLS certification or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast media into coronary arteries during cardiac catheterization.
• Assists physician and handles guide wires and catheters.
• Maintains patient flow and pre/post-procedure care.
• Operates imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Responsible for pre/post procedural duties and patient transport.
