Job summary

UPMC Presbyterian is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our IR team in Pittsburgh. Work a daylight Monday–Friday schedule with rotating evenings, weekends, holidays, and holiday call coverage. A 30-minute response time is required during call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Administer contrast under protocol during interventional procedures.
• Demonstrate expert positioning and radiographic techniques for IR exams.
• Review patient history and physician orders to ensure accurate imaging.
• Document patient information in the EMR with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ensure studies are properly coded, tracked, archived, and charged within RIS/ISITE.
• Collaborate with IR colleagues and other departments to expedite patient care.
• Provide support for general radiographic procedures when needed.

What You’ll Do

• Document patient information in the electronic medical record with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ensure all studies are properly coded, tracked, archived, and charged within RIS and ISITE systems.
• Collaborate seamlessly with IR colleagues and other departments to expedite patient care.
• Provide support for general radiographic procedures when needed.
