Job summary

Houston Methodist seeks a Special Procedures Technologist I to perform X-ray, fluoroscopy, and interventional radiology procedures, including OR support. The role requires patient preparation, sterile technique, and adherence to radiation safety standards.

Qualifications include 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist, ARRT-R, BLS, and Texas licensure; IR experience is preferred and ACLS is a plus. Excellent teamwork and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body.
• One year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology preferred.
• BLS and ARRT-R licensure required.
• CMRT state licensure required.
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Assist with patient preparation and sterile technique.
• Support OR cases as needed.
• Maintain radiation safety and ALARA practices.
• Document procedures and charges accurately.
