Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Radiologic Tech I to perform diagnostic radiology, including X-ray and Fluoroscopy, with support for OR cases, using digital radiography. You will assist physicians, uphold ALARA and safety standards, and communicate with patients and staff to ensure high-quality care.

Required certifications include ARRT-R, CMRT, and BLS. If you are a new graduate, you must obtain the Texas Medical Board license within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section
• Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English to perform the essential functions
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers with a customer service focus

Responsibilities

• Provides direct assistance to physicians during procedures and maintains sterile technique
