• Provide clinical guidance and leadership to nursing staff within the unit.
• Function as department charge nurse; assign rooms, coordinate bed placement and transfers.
• Lead daily huddle and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Rotate into patient care as needed to support staffing and service levels.
• Manage staff scheduling and on-call coverage as required.
