Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate comprehensive nursing care across the patient continuum. The RN will educate patients and families, lead clinical teams, and ensure safe transitions of care within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN and RN licensure in Arizona, with 2 years of ED or ICU experience preferred and the ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications

• RN with BSN from ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA-accredited program.
• One year RN experience in applicable care setting or one year LPN experience at Mayo Clinic preferred.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements; AZ BLS competency required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care, education and transitions of care.
• Provide leadership and mentoring; participate in quality improvement efforts.
• Delegate patient care according to skill, patient acuity and available resources.
• Maintain effective communication and teamwork across practice settings.
