Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a registered nurse to plan, deliver, document, and evaluate nursing care for patients in assigned units, in accordance with orders and established standards. The role directs nursing staff and ensures accurate, timely documentation of patient conditions and responses to treatment.

Candidates must have Ohio RN licensure, BLS; ACLS/PALS/PEARS/NRP certifications are required or obtained within 90 days; BSN preferred with OR/PACU experience and prior critical care exposure

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with Ohio RN licensure.
• Current BLS; ACLS, PALS, PEARS and NRP certifications or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• BSN preferred; OR/PACU experience encouraged.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in relevant unit.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, document and evaluate nursing care per orders and standards.
• Direct activities of assigned nursing personnel and maintain collaboration with medical staff.
• Observe, assess and report patient condition; document treatment response.
• Maintain accurate, timely care documentation reflecting patient condition and care outcomes.
