Job summary

Western Missouri Medical Center is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN to provide direct patient care before, during, and after IR procedures. You will monitor vital signs during procedures, assist radiologists, and ensure safe recovery with clear discharge instructions.

The role requires coordination with radiology staff, adherence to sterile technique, and active participation in QI projects and on-call rotations. Missouri RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Missouri RN license in good standing.
• BSN preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures and obtain histories.
• Monitor patients during procedures with sedation or anesthesia support.
• Assist radiologists during procedures.
• Provide post-procedure care and discharge instructions.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control.
• Document care in EMR promptly.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and staff.
