Job summary

SSM Health DePaul Hospital - St. Louis is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Interventional Radiology team. You will plan, coordinate and implement care for adult patients undergoing radiology procedures, ensuring safety and quality.

Day shift, regular employee role with 40 hours per week. Requires BLS HCP and RN licensure per IL/MO/OK/WI, with competency to work in an interventional radiology setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• RN license valid in IL/MO/OK/WI or compact state.
• BLS HealthCare Provider and ALS/PALS/ACLS per location requirements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced interventional radiology environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs as circulator, scrub, or monitor on IR procedures.
• Prepares patient in holding with complete history and physical.
• Administers medications and reports abnormal findings to the physician.
• Performs hemostasis safely with/without vascular devices.
• Documents orders and charges; ensures accuracy.
• Educates patients and families about perioperative procedures and tests.
