Job summary

Holy Cross Health is seeking an Interventional Procedure Nurse in Silver Spring to join the Medical Imaging/Radiology team. The role operates in a rotating/PRN schedule, focusing on planning, education, and coordinated patient care in the Interventional Radiology department.

The position requires ADN, Maryland RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of IR nursing experience. A supportive environment emphasizes collaboration, safety, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure by Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State.
• BLS certification (AHA) to be maintained; Life Support as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage care for routine patients using nursing process; educate patients and families.
• Communicate patient/family information to health care team.
• Oversee patient care for individuals in Interventional Radiology.
• Ensure high‑risk patients receive continuous attention from qualified staff.
• Document patient care and assessments in nursing records.
