Job summary

Holy Cross Health is seeking an Interventional Procedure Nurse in Silver Spring to join the Medical Imaging/Radiology team. The role operates in a rotating/PRN schedule, focusing on planning, education, and coordinated patient care in the Interventional Radiology department.

Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Position Purpose: The Interventional Procedure Nurse works in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the Medical Imaging/Radiology Department to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. This position is a great opportunity to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person physically, emotionally and spiritually. Must be authorized to work in the United States without work visa or sponsorship.

What You Will Do:

• Employment Type/Shift: Rotating/PRN
• Using Quality Caring Model, demonstrates acceptable performance, and applies nursing process, to plan and manage care of routine patients, including patient and family education, and continuum of care planning.
• Effectively communicates fundamental patient/family information to health care team.
• Oversee patient care for individuals visiting the Interventional Radiology Department.
• Ensure that critical or high‑risk patients receive continuous attention from qualified nursing or technical staff.
• Accurately document patient care and assessment data, including vital signs, patient status, treatments, education provided, assessment data, and administration and effectiveness of medication and IV therapy, on the appropriate nursing records.
• Educate patients and their families about procedures, treatments, and post‑care instructions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State.
• BLS certification AHA (American Heart Association); additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements preferred.
• Minimum 1years of RN experience in IR.

Pay Range: $39.04 - $58.56 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
