Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. in Georgia seeks a Registered Nurse to join the vascular imaging/Interventional team.

Under the Site Manager, you will perform a wide range of clinical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative, delivering compassionate patient care to diverse populations. Responsibilities include pre/post procedure care, sterile technique, IV administration, contrast management and conscious sedation, with thorough documentation and collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia or multi-state compact (Nurse license)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform clinically independent nursing procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care for invasive, interventional and surgical procedures
• Demonstrate sterile technique and IV administration competence
• Assist with anesthesia coordination, contrast administration and patient monitoring
• Prepare trays, equipment, and documentation; ensure accuracy and compliance with policies
• Coordinate daily patient schedules and maintain records per Joint Commission standards
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certification and adhere to service and patient safety guidelines
