On-site work is required with potential on-call hours. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Nursing or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), current ACLS and BLS

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent certification
• ACLS or equivalent certification
• RN license (Single State) or RN-Compact (multi-state)
• English language proficiency (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care for invasive, interventional and surgical procedures
• Perform nursing duties with independent judgment and initiative
• Maintain patient privacy and comfort
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and administer medications per physician orders and policies
• Maintain and demonstrate sterile technique and IV administration competence
• Coordinate daily patient schedules and communications with care teams
• Complete required paperwork and chart reviews as needed
• Assist in other Medical Imaging areas and departments as needed
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Review cases with physicians and participate in quality improvement activities
• Respond to calls and on-call hours as required
• Support patient and family education and discharge instructions
• Ensure crash cart checks and patient identification procedures are followed
• Adhere to Wellstar Health System policies and code of conduct
