Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for day shift in the Vascular Imaging/Medical Imaging setting. The nurse will perform a wide range of clinical procedures with independent judgment, focusing on patient care across pre/post-procedure phases.

Requirements include an active RN license in the United States, 1+ year of perioperative nursing and at least 1 year of ICU/ED experience; ACLS/BLS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the United States (or multi-state compact)
• Minimum 1 year perioperative nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience in ICU/CCU/ED/IMCU

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care for invasive/surgical procedures
• Perform procedures with independent judgment and use equipment for imaging diagnoses/tatient care
• Demonstrate sterile technique and IV administration competence
• Maintain patient privacy, comfort, and safety during procedures
• Coordinate daily patient schedules and communications with physicians and staff
• Complete necessary paperwork and chart reviews; ensure compliance with policies
