Incredible Health in Hackensack, NJ is hiring a Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology to support radiologists and clinicians during imaging procedures and manage contrast administration.
Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, a valid RN license, BLS/ACLS, and EMR proficiency; 1 year radiology/ICU experience preferred. Shifts include day, night, and mid; roles available full-time, part-time, and per diem.
Qualifications
- ADN or higher in nursing required
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association
- 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or high-acuity clinical setting preferred
- Strong understanding of radiologic procedures and safety protocols, including contrast media
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems
Responsibilities
- Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures
- Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, addressing allergic reactions or complications
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after procedures
- Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care, including risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care per hospital policies
