Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking a Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology to support advanced IR procedures, assist physicians, and ensure patient safety across the IR suite.

The role requires ACLS and BLS within specified windows, 2 years of RN experience (critical care preferred), and an Associate Degree. We seek a compassionate, evidence-based caregiver dedicated to outstanding patient outcomes and teamwork.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN – Registered Nurse with active licensure.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• 2 years RN experience; critical care preferred in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• EKG monitoring when necessary.
• Administer medications or blood products as ordered.
• Start of saline locks and IVs per protocol.
• Catheterization of patients in department.
• Monitor patients receiving IV sedation under radiologist supervision.
• Inform Radiologist/Technologist of any patient condition changes.
