Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a registered nurse to plan, deliver, and document individualized patient care in a dayshift role. You will supervise nursing staff, monitor patient conditions, and ensure adherence to standards of care and policy.

Required Ohio RN licensure with BLS; ACLS/PALS/PEARS and NRP are preferred or must be obtained. BSN preferred; sign-on bonus up to $15k for qualifying experience. 80 hours biweekly, days shift.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire; other AHA certificates may be required.
• AHA ACLS/PALS/PEARS certifications preferred or required as stated.
• NRP certification for Neonatal care is preferred.
• BSN degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans for, delivers, documents and evaluates nursing care for assigned patients.
• Directs activities of assigned nursing staff to meet care standards.
• Observes and reports patient condition and response to treatment.
• Maintains accurate nursing documentation per policy.
