Job summary

Incredible Health in Newark, NJ is hiring a Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology to join our team. The role focuses on assisting radiologists, monitoring contrast agents, and providing patient care before, during, and after imaging procedures.

Requirements include ADN or higher, active RN license, 1 year radiology/ICU experience, BLS/ACLS, and EMR proficiency. The position offers day shifts and options across full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules.

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required.
Active and unencumbered RN license.
1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or high-acuity setting preferred.
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging exams and interventional radiology procedures.
Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents and respond to reactions or complications.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care before, during, and after imaging procedures.
Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care, risks, and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents.
Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care per hospital policies.
