Job summary

Good Shepherd Health Care System in Hermiston, OR is seeking an Interventional Radiology/Cardiology RN for the day shift. This full-time role supports invasive procedures, acts as patient advocate, and collaborates with physicians to deliver safe, high-quality care.

On-call coverage may be required and responsibilities span monitoring, sedation, and sterile technique. Qualifications include an Oregon RN license with BLS/ACLS, NIHSS within 6 months, and a preference for BSN or RCIS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN license in the State of Oregon with BLS and ACLS certification.
• NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred RCIS certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered, including anticoagulants, contrast, and emergency drugs.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with procedures.
• Act as patient advocate and monitor for complications.
• Provide sedation per protocol and monitor vitals and hemodynamics.
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and equipment setup.
