Job summary

Carle Health's Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to support invasive cardiology and radiology procedures. You will assist physicians, ensure patient care, and function under supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist.

The role includes on-call duties and variable shifts. The position offers a sign-on bonus and requires ARRT registration, Illinois Radiologic Technologist licensure, and ACLS within 1 year, with an Associate’s Degree or Certificate in

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology.
Registered in Radiography (ARRT).
ACLS certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

Administers contrast material as requested by physician and responds to reactions.
Assists with procedures under supervision of physicist or dosimetrist.
Maintains inventory and checks patient identification and charts.
Documents procedures accurately and communicates with patients to ensure comfort and confidentiality.
Performs essential radiologic technologist functions and on-call or variable shifts as needed.
