Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to support the Heart & Vascular Institute, assisting physicians in invasive cardiology and radiology studies, and delivering compassionate patient care.

You will work under supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist, maintain sterile fields, and participate in training while supporting a high-quality patient experience. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Capacity to learn and retain information regarding patient care and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively, follow directions, and complete detailed work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material as requested and responds to hypersensitivity.
• Assists with inventory/supplies.
• Checks patient and chart IDs and treatment position.
• Documents accurately per policy.
• Explains procedures and ensures patient comfort and confidentiality.
• Performs essential Radiologic Technologist duties.
• On-call duties and variable shifts as assigned.
