Job summary

Carle Health in the Heart & Vascular Institute seeks a Registered Radiologic Technologist to support physicians during invasive cardiology and radiology studies, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.

Under supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist, you will administer contrast, assist with inventory, and participate in on-call duties; a sign-on bonus is offered and ARRT licensed technologists are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• ARRT registration in Radiography required; state license where applicable.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire is expected.

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast as directed by physician and monitors for allergic reactions.
• Work under supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist.
• Assist with inventory and supplies; ensure proper patient and chart identification.
• Document procedures accurately and completely per policies.
• Explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort, safety and confidentiality.
