Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to support the Heart & Vascular Institute. The role involves assisting in invasive cardiology and radiology studies, ensuring patient safety, and coordinating with physicians and the team to deliver care.

Eligible candidates have ARRT radiography registration, state licensure, and ACLS within 1 year. A sign-on bonus is offered and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or radiologic technology certificate completed.
• ARRT registered in Radiography and state licensure required.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material as directed by physician.
• Assist procedures under supervision of physicist or dosimetrist.
• Manage inventory and prepare supplies for procedures.
• Identify patients and ensure correct chart and position.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort.
