Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Radiology, is seeking a Nationally Certified Radiology Physician Assistant (RPA) for a Full-Time Interventional Radiology opportunity. 1–3 years of radiology experience is preferred; on-the-job training will be provided.

RPAs use ultrasound, X-ray/fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI to diagnose and treat diverse cases, under supervision, with increasing autonomy after the training period.

Qualificações

• Must be detail oriented, for accurate patient info, positioning, IV contrast injection, and machine operation.
• 1–3 years Radiology experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Graded autonomy with growing independence after training; report to attending radiologist.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and triage new IR consults.
• Assist radiologists with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Educate patients about upcoming procedures.
• Assist in post-procedure follow-up and care.
• Evaluate image quality and report findings to supervising radiologist.
