Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
Master's in Science in Nursing or plan to obtain within 4 years.
RN license issued by the State of Illinois required.
Certification in related clinical area or plan to obtain when eligible.
3–5 years’ experience in a specific clinical area.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements education opportunities for staff identified through needs assessments, departmental and system goals.
Supports staff to seek/maintain specialty certification and monitors progress.
Monitors quality data and collaborates on action plans with unit leadership.
Leads inter-professional teams for clinical process improvements.
Provides input into staff evaluations regarding clinical competence and coaching.
