Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing or related Master’s degree (education)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Master’s degree in related discipline
• Registered Nurse license (IL)
• Minimum of 2 years relevant clinical experience
• Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate educational plans with adult learning principles

Responsibilities

• Onboarding & competency: develop, coordinate, administer, facilitate and evaluate onboarding and competency programs
• Conduct onboarding, training and competency evaluation of new and existing staff
• Develop and evaluate onboarding and training programs and establish initial competencies
• Coordinate practice level annual competency evaluations
• Professional development: identify educational needs and implement evidence-based strategies
• Facilitate clinical staff education for system initiatives
• Develop, evaluate and maintain education program records
• Conduct learning needs assessments
• Provide ongoing clinical competence feedback and support management on performance expectations
• Support development of mentorship and preceptorship
• Contribute to quality assurance and policy development
• Coordinate student affiliations and curriculum development
• Participate in quality improvement and regulatory training
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve patient care
