Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
• Master's in Nursing or progress toward it within 4 years of starting role.
• RN license issued by the State of Illinois.
• Certification in a related clinical area or ability to obtain when eligible.
• 3-5 years’ experience in the specific clinical area.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements education opportunities for staff based on needs assessments and goals.
• Supports staff to seek/maintain specialty certification and monitors progress.
• Reviews unit/division dashboards and identifies quality improvement opportunities.
• Monitors quality report data and creates action plans with the operations team.
