Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks a Medical Assistant for Interventional Radiology in a full-time capacity. You will support physicians and nurses, manage patient flow, prepare rooms, and perform accompanying administrative duties to ensure efficient visits.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and MA certification eligibility with certification completed within six months. BLS/CPR is required and 0–2 years of relevant experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current certification in one of the five MA cert exams or eligibility to sit for one soon after hire.
• Complete certification within six months of employment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians and nurses with patient care and procedures.
• Manages patient flow, prepares exam rooms, and maintains supplies.
• Documents vital signs, allergies, and visit reasons accurately.
• Ensures patient confidentiality and professional interactions with patients and care team.
