Job summary

Radia Medical Imaging in Medford, OR is seeking a per-diem Medical Assistant to support Interventional Radiology procedures and clinical operations. You will assist providers during consults and IR procedures, and provide administrative support to patients, ensuring accurate data entry and smooth workflow.

The ideal candidate has healthcare experience, strong communication, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Certification is preferred or obtainable within 2 years.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical assistant certification preferred or ability to acquire certification within 2 years.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Medical assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaises between interventional providers, referring offices, imaging staff, scheduling, and vendors to ensure accurate information flow.
• Supports IR providers, referring physicians, clinical staff, and Radia employees to improve productivity and patient care.
• Front desk support: collect essential documents from patients and providers; assist with scheduling and data entry into EMR.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information and confidentiality.
• Continuously evaluate workflow to improve patient care and data flow across care continuum.
• Support leadership in professional development planning.
