Job summary

Progressive Physician Associates seeks an Advanced Practitioner for Interventional Radiology to provide comprehensive medical/surgical care across multiple sites in the St. Luke's University Health Network.

You will evaluate consults, coordinate perioperative management, and support IR services on busy floors, while mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate brings PA-C certification, 2+ years of ER/IR/hospital experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience; ER/IR or hospital experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to interface and collaborate with patients, families, staff and providers effectively.
• Ability to precept and mentor APP students, medical students, residents, etc.
• Maintain knowledge of current medical practices and skills.
• Travel to any St. Luke's University Health Network site as needed.

Responsibilities

• Establish a clinical presence for the IR division on hospital floors.
• Evaluate new IR consults and coordinate pre- and post-procedure care.
• Coordinate preadmission and perioperative management for complex outpatient procedures.
• Follow up with outpatients for longitudinal IR care.
• Perform image-guided procedures as required.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
• mentor and support coworkers and staff.
