Job summary

VA Loma Linda Healthcare System in California seeks an energetic Interventional Radiologist for our Radiology Service. The candidate will perform US, CT and fluoroscopic guided procedures, supervise fellows, and teach residents and medical students.

The role includes clinical inpatient/outpatient coverage, a research program focused on Veterans' healthcare, and a Monday–Friday schedule with call coverage as needed. Board-certified IR required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Interventional Radiology.
• Experience with ultrasound, CT, and fluoroscopic guided procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to inpatient and outpatient clinics.
• Perform interventional procedures including ultrasound, CT and fluoroscopic guided lumbar puncture, biopsy or drainage in neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and musculoskeletal system.
• Supervise and teach fellows, residents and medical students on Radiology Service rotations.
• Develop a research program benefiting Veterans' healthcare needs.
• Perform diagnostic interpretation of X-rays.
