Job summary

The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System seeks a Board Certified Interventional Radiologist to join our team in Loma Linda, California. The physician will work in inpatient and outpatient settings and may have a faculty appointment with Loma Linda University, contributing to education and research.

Responsibilities include ultrasound, CT and fluoroscopic procedures, lumbar puncture, biopsy or drainage, and diagnostic radiology interpretation.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Interventional Radiologist preferred
• Experience with inpatient and outpatient radiology services advantageous
• Teaching and research interests welcomed

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient radiology services as the primary patient care focus.
• Perform ultrasound, CT, and fluoroscopy-guided procedures incl. lumbar puncture, biopsy or drainage.
• Work within approved scope of practice at Loma Linda VA Medical Center.
• Supervise and teach fellows, residents, and medical students rotating on Radiology.
• Develop a research program to benefit Veterans' healthcare needs.
• Perform diagnostic interpretation of radiographs.
