Job summary

Department of Veterans Affairs at Loma Linda VA Healthcare System seeks an energetic Interventional Radiologist to join our team. The physician will perform ultrasound, CT, and fluoroscopic procedures, supervise trainees, and develop a research program to enhance Veterans’ care.

Inpatient and outpatient services and teaching responsibilities are included. Clinical duties include diagnostic X-ray interpretation and comprehensive patient care in a state-of-the-art VA facility, with a Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• Board certification in Interventional Radiology.
• Experience teaching medical students and residents.
• Ability to develop a research program.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to inpatient and outpatient clinics.
• Perform interventional procedures including ultrasound (US), CT and fluoroscopic guided lumbar puncture, biopsy or drainage in the neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis and musculoskeletal system.
• Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures within the approved scope of practice at the Loma Linda VA Medical Center.
• Supervise and teach fellows, residents and medical students rotating on the Radiology Service.
• Develop a research program in Interventional Radiology to benefit Veterans' healthcare needs.
• Perform diagnostic interpretation of X-rays.
