Job summary

The Loma Linda VA is seeking an energetic, driven Interventional Radiologist to provide services for inpatient and outpatient clinics at the VA Medical Center in California. The physician will oversee ultrasound, CT, and fluoroscopy-guided procedures and will contribute to teaching medical students and residents.

Salary ranges from $380,000 to $400,000 with a typical Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM schedule and on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Interventional Radiologist.
• Involvement in teaching and education of medical learners.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional procedures including ultrasound (US), CT and fluoroscopic guided lumbar puncture, biopsy or drainage in the neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and MSK system.
• Supervise and teach fellows, residents and medical students rotating on Radiology Service.
• Develop a research program in a relevant area of Interventional Radiology to benefit Veterans' healthcare needs.
• Perform diagnostic interpretation of x-rays.
