Tufts Medicine invites applications for an Interventional Radiologist in a full-time capacity based at MelroseWakefield Hospital, Melrose, MA. The role combines broad IR practice with opportunities for teaching and collaboration within the Tufts academic network.

The ideal candidate will have IR fellowship training, board certification, and strong procedural skills, with a focus on patient-centered care in a community hospital setting. Academic activity is optional.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in diagnostic radiology with IR fellowship.
• Strong procedural and diagnostic skills for community hospital practice.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad spectrum of interventional procedures including vascular access, biopsies, drainages, embolization and other minimally invasive therapies.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies to support safe and effective procedural planning.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient IR consultations, evaluate patients pre- and post-procedure, and support continuity of care.
• Collaborate with MelroseWakefield Hospital teams across surgery, emergency medicine, oncology and primary care.
