Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.
• Strong procedural and diagnostic skills for community hospital practice.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
• Interest in academic or educational activities through Tufts Medical Center is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad spectrum of interventional procedures including vascular access, biopsies, drainages, embolization, and other minimally invasive therapies.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies to support procedural planning and patient care.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient IR consultations and evaluate patients pre- and post-procedure.
• Collaborate with Tufts Medical Center care teams including surgery, emergency medicine, oncology, and primary care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary discussions, rounds, and case reviews for coordinated care.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, expectations, and follow-up plans.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and support program development in community IR.
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
