Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with IR fellowship.
• Strong procedural and diagnostic skills for a community hospital.
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Interest in academic activities with Tufts Medical Center welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad spectrum of interventional procedures including vascular access, biopsies, drainages, embolization and other minimally invasive therapies.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies to support procedural planning.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient IR consultations, evaluate patients pre- and post-procedure, ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with MelroseWakefield Hospital teams (surgery, ED, oncology, primary care).
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case reviews to support high-quality care.
• Provide patient education on procedures, expectations, and follow-up.
