Job summary

UNC Health Caldwell in Lenoir, NC seeks a clinically oriented Interventional Radiologist to join our radiology team. This position offers full-time, part-time, or per diem arrangements, onsite at Caldwell with some days at the main campus.

MD or DO needed; board certification in diagnostic and interventional radiology preferred; NC licensure eligible. Light IR procedures, outpatient work, Monday–Friday dayshift, located in the Greater Hickory Metro.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Interventional Radiology residency or fellowship program.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in both Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology.
• Eligible for or ability to obtain North Carolina medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Will perform light Interventional Radiology procedures in the radiology department, as well as outpatient work.
• Monday through Friday – dayshift hours only!
• A full-time position would cover onsite light IR needs at main campus a few days a week and 2 days per week at the mammography center.
• A part-time position would be 2-3 days per week of light IR work, onsite at UNC Health Caldwell Hospital
• Located in the Greater Hickory Metro Area of NC!
