Job summary

UNC Health Caldwell in Lenoir, NC seeks a clinically oriented Interventional Radiologist to join our team. The role supports light IR work onsite, with options for full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules, and dayshift hours.

Ideal candidates are MD or DO with IR training, board-certified or board-eligible in both Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, and licensure eligibility in NC. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and potential relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited IR residency or fellowship program.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology.
• Eligible for or able to obtain North Carolina medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform light Interventional Radiology procedures in the radiology department and outpatient work.
• Monday through Friday – dayshift hours.
• Full-time coverage: onsite at main campus several days a week and 2 days/week at the mammography center.
• Part-time: 2–3 days/week of light IR work onsite at Caldwell Hospital.
• Located in the Greater Hickory Metro Area of NC.
