UNC Health Caldwell in Lenoir, NC invites an experienced Interventional Radiologist to join our team. This clinically oriented role offers full-time, part-time or per diem schedules with on-site light IR work and outpatient duties.

The position emphasizes collaboration within a large health system, competitive compensation with sign-on/relocation options, a Monday–Friday dayshift, and potential for loan repayment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Interventional Radiology residency or fellowship program.
• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in both Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology.
• Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform light Interventional Radiology procedures in the radiology department and outpatient work.
• Work Monday through Friday with dayshift hours.
• FT role may cover onsite light IR at main campus and 2 days per week at the mammography center.
• PT/PRN roles on 2–3 days per week at UNC Health Caldwell Hospital.
• Located in the Greater Hickory Metro Area of NC.

UNC Health is currently seeking a clinically oriented, board‑certified or board‑eligible Interventional Radiologist to join our team at UNC Health Caldwell in Lenoir, NC.

We look for personable and engaging Interventional radiologists to join the team working onsite full‑time, part‑time or per diem.

Position Information

• Will perform light Interventional Radiology procedures in the radiology department, as well as outpatient work.
• Monday through Friday – dayshift hours only.
• A full‑time position would cover onsite light IR needs at the main campus a few days a week and 2 days per week at the mammography center.
• A part‑time position would be 2‑3 days per week of light IR work onsite at UNC Health Caldwell Hospital.
• Located in the Greater Hickory Metro Area of NC.
