Job summary

UNC Health Caldwell in Lenoir, NC invites an experienced Interventional Radiologist to join our team. This clinically oriented role offers full-time, part-time or per diem schedules with on-site light IR work and outpatient duties.

The position emphasizes collaboration within a large health system, competitive compensation with sign-on/relocation options, a Monday–Friday dayshift, and potential for loan repayment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Interventional Radiology residency or fellowship program.
• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in both Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology.
• Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform light Interventional Radiology procedures in the radiology department and outpatient work.
• Work Monday through Friday with dayshift hours.
• FT role may cover onsite light IR at main campus and 2 days per week at the mammography center.
• PT/PRN roles on 2–3 days per week at UNC Health Caldwell Hospital.
• Located in the Greater Hickory Metro Area of NC.
