Job summary

The interventional radiologist at Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, will provide clinical, administrative, and teaching responsibilities, interpret angiography, perform vascular interventions, and oversee education of radiology residents, IR fellows, and technologists.

Candidates must be board certified/eligible by the ABR, hold a full US medical license, and have specialty training in Vascular & Interventional Radiology.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved medical school.
• Current, full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Board certification or eligibility in Radiology with subspecialty in Vascular & Interventional Radiology.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and perform angiography and vascular interventions.
• Provide diagnostic radiology services including CT and MR angiography.
• Educate and supervise radiology residents, IR fellows, and technologists.
• Contribute to quality assurance, performance improvement, and patient care outcomes.
