The Interventional Radiologic Technologist operates digital equipment and performs complex invasive procedures by positioning patients and preparing contrast media to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology, working with contrast media, chemotherapy agents, radiation agents, cements, resins, and embolization agents. The position may involve procedures in other departments such as the Operating Room and Cath Lab across multiple imaging modalities. This is a clinical position requiring full-time commitment and may include mandatory call as needed.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Education: Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
Experience: At least 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist required; 1-2 years of IR experience preferred.
