Interventional Radiologic Technologist PER DIEM

**Responsibilities:**
- Perform basic and intermediate interventional radiologic procedures, including biopsy, para/thoracentesis, abscess drainages, peripheral vascular stenting, catheter placement, thrombolytic therapy, and embolization.
- Act as a scrub assistant on interventional and surgical procedures, under physician guidance.
- Monitor patients, recognize life-threatening changes, and respond with emergency procedures such as defibrillation and CPR.
- Ensure diagnostic quality of images, assist in evaluating digital equipment, and process images correctly.
- Verify requisitions against physician orders for accuracy.
- Post-process, label, and document images and procedures accurately.
- Maintain records per regulatory standards and enter data into the radiology information system.
- Assist with patient positioning and transportation, utilizing proper techniques.
**Schedule & Certifications:**
- Scheduled hours include call rotation on weeknights and weekends.
- Licenses & Certifications: Radiographer license (WI), ARRT registration, BLS, and ACLS (within 6 months, if required).
**Qualifications:**
- Advanced training in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
- No prior experience required.
- Knowledge of radiology positioning, radiation safety, anatomy, and computer skills.
