Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring adherence to established protocols across diverse patient populations. The role includes post-processing and meticulous record-keeping to support quality patient care.

Qualified candidates will have AMA-approved Radiologic Technology training, ARRT registration, and BLS certification; VI/CI certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: None
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• BLS Certified. ARRT VI/CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral studies and GI studies.
• Complete all post processing functions.
• Maintain records and patient care according to established protocols across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

BLS Certified.

Advance Certification by ARRT in Vascular-Interventional Radiographer (VI) or Cardiac-Interventional Radiographer (CI) is preferred.
