Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking an Interventional Radiology Tech to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies, plus drainage and biopsies. Post-processing and meticulous record keeping are expected, with care for adolescent to geriatric patients.

Qualifications include AMA/JRCERT accredited radiologic technology education, ARRT/BCLS requirements, and preferred VI/CI ARRT certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
• No work experience required.
• ARDMS or ARRT radiographer registration required; BCLS required on hire; ARRT VI/CI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies.
• Performs modality-assisted drainage and biopsies and completes all post-processing functions.
• Performs related record keeping and patient care functions.
• Adheres to established protocols and differentiates for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations during procedures.

Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
