Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures and related patient care. The role requires adherence to protocols across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

Graduates of AMA approved Radiologic Technology programs (or JRCERT-accredited training) are invited to apply. ARDMS/ARRT registration and Basic Life Support are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer Registered upon Hire.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and GI studies, and modality-assisted drainage/biopsies.
• Completes all post-processing functions.
• Performs related record keeping and patient care.
• Ensures protocol adherence across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations in diagnostics.

Job description

Responsibilities:

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
