Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist. You will perform diagnostic/interventional radiology procedures following established protocols for adolescent to geriatric patients, including angiography and related studies.

Requirements include AMA/JRCERT accredited radiologic technology education, ARDMS/ARRT registration, and BCLS. No prior experience required. This is a full-time on-site position with hospital-based duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• ARDMS/ARRT Radiographer Registered upon hire; BCLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures (angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, GI studies) and modality-assisted drainage/biopsies; completes post-processing; maintains records and patient care; follows protocols for adolescent to geriatric populations.

Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
